I'm through with the first two sections of lace. I've done my last increase row. I now have 574 sts on the needles, and I'm setting up to do the last big pattern.
Here's a progress pic, shown with a piece of paper stuck into the bag o' knitted lace to show off the stitches.
It's still an easy knit. But the big chart (and the large number of sts involved) will be a bit more of a challenge.
Lace is mucho fun, y'all.
And now, just because I want to, a couple of pictures of Jasper in motion.
Notice he has a piece of rawhide chewie in his mouth. He's one of those dogs that loves carrying things around in his mouth.
And this one:
One foot on the ground, 3 feet in the air, chewie in mouth, always moving.
That's ma boy!
At least it's not your shoe in his mouth! The lace is looking good.

That shawl is looking great--I'm still loving the color and now the pattern is becoming so clear--very cool! And Jasper has got to be one of the cutest dogs I've seen in a long time--he looks like he's having a GREAT time:) Happy knitting!

Hey Janice, yes, Cosmo is an Australian Shepherd. I was not familiar with the breed until Stephen brought him over. I was expecting the ever-popular German Shepherd. He has one blue eye and one brown eye, which gives him character. He loves to fetch a tennis ball, which neither of my dogs will do, so that was fun.

I love Jasper ! We should all have a pet-blog-athon sometime and post pictures of our animal loved ones. Then we could hop from site to site "ohhhing" and "ahhhing" over the babies.
The shawl is lovely. The color is so rich ! Good job.
