Hedera socks
As promised, here are my Hedera socks. View 1: straight on.

Yarn: Dream in Color Smooshy, color Blue Lagoon. Purchased at Creative Yarns in Macon, GA, the week I was hangin' out with my dad.
I started these socks while we were on vacation. They're actually my first pair of lace socks. I think this is a wonderful pattern. The instructions are clear and the stitch pattern is easy to memorize. I was a little concerned that they're knit on only 60 sts, but the description noted that the stitch pattern had lots of stretch. (It does.) And the Smooshy yarn is a bit thicker than some sock yarns. This is a nice, cushy feeling sock.
Sock pattern and yarn HIGHLY recommended.
The socks are lovely.

thanks for the recommendation! I just got some sock yarn that needed a pattern, and I think this will be loverly.
Are you going to knit another pair so Bouncer has sockies for all 4 feetsies? :-)

Great socks! I tried to order some Dream in Color from Loopy Ewe but it sold out super-fast. Nice to hear that the pattern is stretchy.. I hate these sock patterns with no give (Jaywalker) which you have to work yourself into a lather just to get on your feet.

What a great color - I love the black and grey face. OOps - sorry, all I could look at was that gorgous dog. I just love Bouncer's face.
But - the socks are really nice too. I love the intensity of that color.

Those are your first socks?! They're terrific and are much prettier than my first pair (which I'm almost done with). And I love the dog modeling!
