I love the colors in that spindle bowl! Sadly all of my spindles have been neglected since my wheel made its entrance into Chez Mousie.. I'm sure they're jealous. lol. The pups look happy.. glad to see they're all getting along.

YAY!! I'm so glad you like the spindle bowl!

Beth

That's a beautiful bobbin full of yarn! And I just love the dog picture. They totally look like they know to be good for the camera. :)

Sandy

The spinning looks wonderful. I could sit and watch you spin for hours! I have one of KW bowls and I love mine too - makes controlling my takhli much easier.

Your pack is full of pretty boys! But, I totally understand about the outnumbered thing!

Beth

Lucky is a handsome guy! Yay! for an easy transition to your family. :)

Michelle

Aw, Lucky is very lucky indeed to be adopted into your pack! They are very cute and I'm sure they are all good boys and no trouble whatsoever. :)

Lucky is gorgeous! He looks very much like an English Shepherd. He also looks quite happy to be in your pack! :D

Indy (now about 10 yrs old) is quite chubby and on a diet as well. He needs more walks, now that spring is coming (theoretically, anyway - it snowed again yesterday).

Thanks for the link to the spindle bowls! I have one that has a small base - not much good for lap spinning, definitely works better on a flat surface. I've been thinking about doing some support spinning lately, maybe a tahkli and some cotton...

Marnie

Congrats on the new family member. One of these days, you are going to need to adopt yourself another girl. ;)

Have I ever mentioned how gorgeous your pups are? Jeeze.

Oh and the spindle and cup look really cool. They seem so big, but they clearly produce lovely fine yarn (in the right hands).

That's a great looking family ya' got there ;-)

Bless you for taking care of Lucky. Many years ago, my mom adopted two shelter pups who had been abandoned when their mom died and her kids didn't want the dogs. As an only child, I naturally have the "obligation" for mom's pups when she passes; fortunately, I am my mother's daughter. :-)

Lucky looks really good in the picture. I'd never have guessed he was overweight. And we currently stand at 2 and 2 male:female ratio. When I have a say in the matter, I do prefer to be outnumbered. :-)
