just very, very busy! I've been trekking over to the shop in Monroe almost every day of the week (2 hours driving time round trip), tottering around taking care of little dogs and kitties in my area, and generally being busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest. It's crunch time at the shop -- opening day is less than a week away. Eeek! But we're starting to put product on the shelves. I put up all the books today, as well as labelling and sorting over 1000 balls of yarn.
I'm pooped. But more regular posting should resume after Sept. 1 when the dust settles.
Oh, and I've got a birthday coming up...
Well, pre happy b-day :)

Happy birthday! Got any lovely gifts to yourself planned? (I almost always end up buying my own, and telling DH what a wonderful job he did picking stuff out for me. Xmas, too).
Just read back in your archives to figure out why you're loading shelves in a yarn shop. Nice! Enjoy your job! I also recently got a Zire 31 (didn't need the extras the 71 had) to replace a gone-missing Handspring Visor. Love my PDA!

Happy birthday early!
Where is the shop? I go to Watkinsville to visit my sister and I am always interested in visiting more LYSs.
Also, do you know if the Cat's Meow in Athens closed?

Happy birthday! I know you're really busy now, but I'm sure things will settle down once the shop is open and you can get into a routine.
Hang in there!

Oh, and to answer Paula's question--yes, The Cat's Meow did close.

Happy Birthday! I've been thinking of you lots and hope the Grand Opening is going well. Hopefully I will get down there next weekend. Hope to see you next Wednesday at Jatema's.
