We're off to BIL/SIL's house in Maryland for a few days.  MIL is riding with us.

You could always try the National Lampoon vacation seat for odd members of the family - the rocker strapped to the top of the weird family station wagon! LOL Good luck! (There are some advantages to being divorced or having deceased parents-in-law).
